West Sumatera is as famous as Bali island. because those of this the number of the foreigner who visit this province has increased more ad more every year. most of them will be spend the night at Bukit tinggi. this town often called as the tourism town. the climate of this town is colder but it is not so cold as Padang Panjang is. the coldest town in this province is alahan panjang.
the tourism maybe will visit some tourism objects in some regencies. such as a waterfall in Batang Anai and another one in can be found in Payakumbuh which is called Batang Arau. it falls less swiftly than the one in Batang Anai. in bukit tinggi there are some interesting place like canyon, clock tower, old dutch fortrees, park, zoo and museum.
our province has traditional food like randang, kalio etc.
